Those who taste cachaça fall in love with it - 18/09
The Caipirinha makes the cachaça popular and becomes a cult in countries around Europe, Asia and the United States.
In addition to its flavor and smell, cachaça has an enormous versatility. It can be tasted pure, on the rocks and in long drinks with the most diversified fruits. Among the main cocktails, the Caipirinha is a brighter star.
"A must" in every brazilian party, the drink impresses by the simplicity of its formula: a sliced lime, two doses of cachaça, two tablespoons of sugar and crushed ice pressed with a wood pestle in a glass.
So simple and yet so delicious, the drink has already gained followers all over the world. Combining both simplicity and high class, Caipirinha has become synonymous with the joy and spontaneity of the brazilian people. Tasting the drink is like tasting Brazil.
Differently from other drinks, the smoothness and freshness of the mixture please everyone, including the female public. The drink, considered fashionable and refined, has gained the approval, from most of the female restaurants - and bars - goers around the world.
Also among the experts the Caipirinha is gaining more and more admirers. In 1998, the International Barman Association included it among the seven wonders of the world cocktails.
In the last year of the past millenium, the American magazine In Style, elected it "the hottest drink of the century".
The Caipirinha is an undisputed success but we shouldn’t forget that positive reactions also arise when foreigners try tropical fruit cocktails or, of course, the straight cachaça, which can also be aged.
That is an evidence that the producers have a vast arsenal to win the foreign market, specially the Cachaca Export Ltda, which is offering the Caipirinha Samba Brasil Ready to Drink (15%V.V.) becoming the newest novelty from Brazil to the world..
